Pros

Career progression is brilliant. They help you through your exams too. The opportunity to become a top consultant. I joined in January 2018 and it was one of the best things I've done in regards to my career. I have progressed every year since and at a rapid pace. Being able to have your own business/clients under the deVere licence and products umbrella.

Cons

Working on a lower amount of money to start with while you get going. This is why you should have some savings behind you to supplement your salary depending on how lavish you want to live in your respective jurisdiction.

The opportunity to become a top consultant.

Pros

- easy induction process. Had all my interviews within one week - lots of training. You keep growing and learning every day - hands on and approachable CEO. - very big company, opportunity to relocate internationally. I worked in both Spain and UAE DeVere offices. - great reputation

Cons

- requires hard work and dedication, so may not be for people who are not used to cold calling or lead generation - can take time to build client base (as in any other business really) - even though relocation is a plus for, me some people might get homesick

Pros

Opportunities to earn commission after you pay them back the retainer, visa fees, and even the hotel from when you first arrive in town. Basically glorified indentured servitude sold as a great opportunity.

Cons

They downright lie about their policies. They say that you receive a base salary. This is a lie. Employees will tell you they get a salary until you take the job, then the truth will come out. Even more troubling, they have people work on tourist visas which is against the law. If an employee gets caught working this way, they risk going to jail. When we asked the CEO about this he winked and said “well you want to make money, don’t you?” It’s clear that’s all he cares about. They do not care about their staff or their clients, only themselves and their sports cars. They make racist comments and avoid working with anyone who isn’t white. Do not believe anything they say! Even if your contract says you will receive a salary, you will have to pay it back! Beware of these crooks! There is a reason they’ve been banned from so many countries.

Advice to Management

Stop lying to your staff and to your clients. Karma is a b*tch and it’s coming for you.
