Recently got promoted and got a 10% raise. Yet, I still make barely more than people who are a level lower and joined the firm less than a year after I did. From a financial perspective it truly doesn’t make sense to stay with a firm beyond 2/3 years anymore. I am in industry FWIW.

On one hand, I want to hunt and be hunted for the managerial positions I'm qualified to do, have a salary, and continue my career from my level. On the other hand, I want a balance. No more stress. If it actually paid bills, I'd happily just drive for Uber. I have many years in management for retail, property management, and design industries that include event planning, accounting, and of course team building. I need a fresh perspective and some advice on possible next moves, please?

Giving that this past year companies still beating earnings or at least the company I work for (Apple ) , I feel very discouraged to see that my quality of life is getting more expensive while the same company is not offering a fair increase in my salary. I notice most of my team members are struggling, some of them even working part times or Uber !! I haven’t been successful talking to any leader about this and Thinking about quitting but any comments as I really lack motivation
