    Difficult Interview

    Application

I applied through college or university. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Électricité de France in April 2017.

    Interview

    Difficult Interview

    Application

I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Électricité de France (Orsay (France)) in July 2016.

    Interview

    Difficult Interview

    Application

I applied in-person. The process took 5+ months. I interviewed at Électricité de France (Cheltenham, England (UK)) in February 2014.

    Interview

Interviewer was a single phase interview due to previously working for them. Phoned the human resources team and organised an interview, they took approximately 2 months to get back to me, and I had my interview that week when they finally did. After the interview it took a further 3 months for them to get back to me about whether or not I had the job.

    Interview Questions

    • Given a long phase of cryptic clues that were supposed to lead to me getting to a point, but were far too cryptic / quite frankly just wrong at points, to actually come up with the answer that was being pushed for. The question was about civil design, of a power plant, and what are the defences that you would consider, then pushed it towards flooding issues.   1 Answer

    Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Électricité de France in October 2012.

    Interview

I only got as far as the online tests , made a real hash of them as they were very hard compared to other tests that I have done online this year already. Numerical reasoning was very difficult , the test consisted of lots of information and only a short time to answer , 18 questions and 25 mins but each question needed ratios and percentages but u needed to do a lot of working out beforehand from the info.

    Staff Accountant Interview

Anonymous Interview Candidate in San Diego, CA
    No Offer
    Neutral Experience
    Difficult Interview

    Application

I applied through a staffing agency. I interviewed at Électricité de France (San Diego, CA).

    Interview

The first interview involves the recruiter, lead accountant, and accounting manager. It was pretty straight-forward, as they asked about my previous work experience and personal strengths/weaknesses. I thought it went well, but I later found out that they are looking for people who are assertive and extroverted, which is not me. If you are more on the quiet side, then you will need to speak up and have several questions in mind for them during the interview.

    Interview Questions

    • If you came up with an answer to a problem that differs from your co-worker's answer, how would you resolve the difference?   Answer Question
