    Difficult Interview

    Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at ADP (London, England (UK)) in November 2016.

    Interview

The interview was for ADP but onsite at Goldman Sachs. It comprised of a phone screening and then 2 interviews. The first interview went well. I met 4 people: 2 people each in 2 interviews for half an hour each (1 hour in total). I met with the 2 current people who are doing the same role and their direct managers. They asked questions which allowed me to discuss if I had the relevant experience and skills to the role. The second interview was more intense and less focused. I met 5 people: 2 people, 2 people and 1 person in 3 interviews in 1.5 hours. The second round were with senior Goldman Sachs employees. Truthfully, it did not seem that these people knew exactly what the job role I applied for required. They spent a lot of the time discussing how it is unlikely for ADP employees onsite would become converted into GS employees. In the 2nd round of interviews, 4 interviewers mentioned how unlikely this conversion is, despite this not being prompted by myself. They spent a lot of time on this as opposed to discussing how I could be suitable for the role or asking if I had the required skills I need to perform the role. The majority of them seem distracted and not mentally present in the interview. After this second round of interviews, 3.5 weeks later I got a one line email from the ADP Client Manager saying I didn't get it with no feedback.

    Application

I applied online. The process took 4+ weeks. I interviewed at ADP (London, England (UK)) in March 2016.

    Interview

went through a number of hoops, a standard online application which then seemed to go into a queue. Interview over the phone with a 'recruiter' then onto the potential line manager, then two lots of 'stakeholders'. Not too onerous. The company seems to be going through some changes but what is clear is this is a US centric organisation and one that all functions play second fiddle to Sales.

    Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 6+ weeks. I interviewed at ADP (London, England (UK)) in September 2009.

    Interview

Very long interview process, beginning with a screening process involving a number of individuals of different backgrounds and experiences. This was followed by a one to one session where more industry specfic questions were posed and culminating in a panel session where I was asked to consider both an exam style question then present a project plan around the role I was interviewing for
