Applied online using ASDA application form, which required a quick, straightforward numeracy and literacy test. A couple of days later I received an email inviting me to an ASDA Magic group interview the following week. The interview was for a range of jobs, not just the one I applied for. The interview was straight forward and everyone was very friendly. Firstly we had to talk to the person opposite us, find out their answers to certain questions and give a quick presentation introducing them to everyone else. Then we were split into small groups, given a product and told to make an advert for it. The only requirement was it had to have the 'That's ASDA price!' pocket tap in it. Then we had 1:1 interviews, filled out some paperwork and had a tour of the store, including 5 minutes of 'Have a Go', where we tidied some shelves. I got a phone call about 2 hours later to say I was successful.
