    Application

I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Advocate Health Care in March 2010.

    Interview

At the time I was a college student whom had experience as a nursing assistant. I applied via the website and within two weeks I received a request by phone to interview in person. The process took about an hour in total and consisted specifically of a 30min interview with the HR recruiter. I was notified that the start date would not be for three more weeks, however I presented all required physical/immunization/TB forms. Honestly, the HR rep found it a bit odd but then suggested I could possibly start the next week. She sent me to interview with the manager who asked what I was in school for and what my goals were in life. The process took about 20min and she asked how much I'd like to make and when I could start. I was then sent back to HR and was formally offered the position there.

    Difficult Interview

    Application

I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Advocate Health Care in March 2016.

    Interview

Started off with HR interview, then to a peer interview, to the manager of the unit I was applying for, and then back to HR. Mildly difficult interview, but as long as you prepare some situations that you can use when asked "tell me about a time when" it's pretty straightforward.

    Interview Questions

    Negotiation

No negotiation, accepted right away as they wanted me to start my physical and orientation as soon as possible.

    Interview

It takes too long to get an interview or know where you are in the hiring process. Having a corporate filtration system with the hiring process isn't beneficial to know who would be a good fit for the position and the team they would be working with.
