I interviewed at the New York office with the former OpenSky team members. I did a good phone interview and then a face-to-face which was only supposed to be 2 hours but last 4.5 hours until well after 6.
By the end of it I was exhausted, but most of the questions were fair and people generally nice. The part they did really poorly was the followup. After investing my time in the interview process they did not have the decency to message me or call me directly. They sent an automated message 1 month after the interview.
I always find it shocking how companies of this stature can be so unprofessional when someone invests their time into an interview. Good luck to OpenSky - who learnt nothing from the startup world about being transparent.
