I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Amentum (Fort Bragg, NC) in Jan 2020
Interview
Supervisor with obvious little maintenance experience asked me a few simple questions. Once I answered that I could do a simple task he said I can start next week. Supervisors use buzz words they hear in PC meetings and hope you can fill the role they know nothing about.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Amentum (Tacoma, WA) in Sep 2024
Interview
It went smoothly within 24 hours. Great company to work with and growth aircraft maintenance skills. Got a call from HR and then call from a manager on site for further questions based on your resume.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Things on resume, and technical questions. Also, assurance to bring your own toolbox and tools on day 1.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Amentum
Interview
Very straightforward with no games. Received a call to schedule an interview. I was asked basic questions about my resume and then more technical/troubleshooting questions about avionics. They wanted to verify that I would be comfortable in the role, working on that type of aircraft, and wouldn't have difficulty with their maintenance manuals. Received an offer letter about a week later. All in all, a very simple process.
