      Executive Assistant Interview

      Jul 25, 2012
      Anonymous employee
      New York, NY
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at American Express (New York, NY) in Mar 2011

      Interview

I got the initial interview through a recruiter which was an in-person interview. Questions were very basic and situational. That was followed by two more phone interviews that asked almost the EXACT same questions. That was followed by one more in-person interview which was again, consisted of basically the same questions.

      Neutral experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I interviewed at American Express (Sunrise, FL)

      Interview

The interview process was smooth and swift. It's just the fact that I got ghosted. They said they would notify me in a week if I got a second interview, and the following week, they said they hoped to have someone picked. It's been four weeks, and I have heard nothing. I even emailed them and still didn't receive a response.

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at American Express (New York, NY) in Sep 2025

      Interview

I only made it through the initial phone screening. I was very excited since AMEX is known for great work life balance. My interviewer was a former EA who gleamed about flexibility within the company and the HR Team.
