Completed a phone screening before interview which was about your previous experience. Interview included a personal presentation about yourself and the optima program and to learn more about yourself, less about previous job experience

Terrible. Does not take the time to read my messages/emails about my preferred method of communication. Kept calling me until I blocked the phone number. Do not recommend to anyone.

45 minute zoom call with hiring manager. Very normal questions. Tell about your self and example based questions. Tell me a time when.. It was also a time for them to tell about their company. Very friendly interview.

Anonymous Interview Candidate in Cincinnati, OH
I applied online. I interviewed at American Marketing and Publishing (Cincinnati, OH) in Jul 2023
Was contacted for a quick phone interview. I was so excited because I have solid advertising background in print and digital. Going in I was concerned about the pay structure, but was happy to know it was salary plus commission. She came off as a very nice person.
- Asked about my background and what I was looking for.

Very formal, asked to put together a presentation. Ends up being a waste of time because they do not disclose how many candidates they are still interviewing for one position until after you get rejected. Yet during the interview led to believe there are a number of openings. Most job interviews obviously run you around a bit, but seems like they should narrow down their process some more before getting candidates to prepare materials
- What are some of the accomplishments you are most proud of

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at American Marketing and Publishing (Tampa, FL) in Jun 2023
First there was a phone interview giving the basic overview and responsibilities. Then there was a zoom meeting where typical job history and work experience questions were asked. Lastly, is a day to shadow an established sales rep. This gives a little in sight to how the day to day tasks go. At the end of the ride day, there is one last phone call to ask how the day went.
- What would your friends consider your role in the friend group?

Applied online, soon after I got a text and scheduled a phone screening. After the phone screening, you move onto a zoom interview. Lastly, you sit in for about two hours in person and shadow the job, then followed by a third interview. process was efficient and quick. communication was great. You also do you have to create about a four minute pitch presentation about yourself and the company in the zoom interview.
- how do you win an argument? When was the time you felt like a failure? Where do you see yourself in five years? why should you be a part of our team?

I had two short phone interviews followed by a zoom meeting which lasted about an hour. I felt all went really well and was surprised to not get an offer. They seem to be selective based on your location.
- Who are you in your friend group?
