    Difficult Interview

    Application

I applied through college or university. The process took 2+ weeks. I interviewed at Analog Devices (Longmont, CO) in December 2015.

    Interview

I was contacted for an interview after sending my resume to an employee asking around for resumes from the lab we both used to work in at CU. Interview day included 6 one hour interviews with different engineers but no HR interview, so the interview skipped all the bullsh*t and talked about the stuff that matters. All my interviewers were quite friendly and personable though, and all gave me plenty opportunity to ask them questions as well.

    Interview Questions

    • Lots of technical questions, covering basic circuits, transistors, op amps, and DC-DC converters.   Answer Question
    • Had me analyze a small prototype PCB by sight to see what I could figure out, given no information about it.   Answer Question
