    Application

I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Apex Consulting Solutions (Charlotte, NC) in May 2015.

    Interview

The interview process was simple. I was searching for a marketing internship while
I was in college and I stumbled upon this opportunity. I was looking for opportunities in the Charlotte, NC area. I found and applied for the marketing internship online; and was contacted by the company two days later. A phone interview was conducted with HR and was later followed by a face to face interview with the manager. Overall the interview process was easy and very fast.

    Application

The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Apex Consulting Solutions (Charlotte, NC).

    Interview

2 step process. First one is where they sit you down and show you basically what the company is, a pyramid scheme. I was so naive coming out of college because I wanted to have a corporate job whether it was sales or marketing. This is the complete opposite of it. YOU SELL DIRECTV OF WALMART. BE HONEST ON YOUR WEBSITE

    Reasons for Declining

I want to work for a real company. Not a poorly outsourced directv scheme. I feel bad for the college kids that were suckered in.

    They sell you a fantasy!
They ask you personal questions, how and why you applied for this company. They want to see how hungry and dedicated you are. They basically offer almost everyone the job because they desperately looking for new emplyees. Why? The turnover rate is super high because people quickly figure out that something is very fishing about this company.

    Easy Interview

    Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Apex Consulting Solutions in May 2016.

    Interview

I applied online and was contacted and intetviewed briefly over the phone. I had the impression I was I interviewing for a customer service position, in an office type setting managing accounts. An interview was set up for the next day, and I was seen promptly at my interview time. After the interview I left feeling very misled and disappointed. This was not an account management position. This was a position. For selling Direc TV inside of Walmart.

    Interview Questions

    Reasons for Declining

I am not interested in selling Direc TV or sales in general. Would have been nice if I would have know prior to going in and I wouldn't have has to waste my time or theirs.

    Account Manager Interview

    Interview

They first interview was only 10 minutes long, and she just asked very basic questions, like about school and my goals. I asked about what the company did and she gave me a very vague and misleading answer. Before I left they scheduled me for a second interview for the next day where I would be shadowing an account manager. For the second interview I showed up and there were two other candidates interviewing for their second round. I was called into an office where I met the account manager I would be shadowing for the day. I thought that we were gonna stay at the office but she told me we were going to another location, so I followed her in my car. The other location was BJs... It was there that she explained to me the salary and she told me that everyone starts at the bottom then eventually becomes an account manager. I also finally understood what they did, which is basically selling Directv inside Walmart and BJs. The girl who interviewed me was very sweet and we got along great, which was probably the only good thing about the interview. After I left I got a call where they offered me the position but I turned it down because this wasn't the career path I wanted to take.

Long story short-save your self the time unless you want to sell directv in Walmart.
