Contacted by talent hunter for upper management position. The talent hunter was able to keep up a good momentum however the overall process was slow. The job description received was not up to standards for such large organization. I was finally interviewed and evaluated on technical matters for a high position by an HR person only without any line manager presence. I should have refused to be interviewed and I was not even looking for a new position. If you are to be interviewed, always request the responsible line manager to be present, otherwise decline the interview! HR is not there to evaluate upper management talents in technical matter!
