Had to pre prepare a swot analysis and action plan (short, medium and longer term) action plan based on swot. At interview were 4 interviewers split into 2 teams. 1 team did exercise discussion and swot analysis action plan discussion, second team did competency based interview. Whole process took approximately two hours but felt very rushed. Initially had 15 minutes to read and take notes on exercise - a retail scenario where having day from hell, have to prioritise the day dealing with all issues. Only have about 15 mins to present then brief question/answer session. Felt very rushed and bit unrealistic. Next have 15mins to present swot and action plan with brief question/answer session. I found this extremely rushed, when nervous talk too much so quickly ran out of time. Then moved to another room to do competency interview- I was thrown because they did not have my cv so when talking about examples was being asked if this was where I currently worked. Questions were quite repetitive good customer service, how to get team to give good customer service how could Argos improve customer service. I personally did not have a good interview- had a total mind block so that may have been reason for some of the repetitiveness I wanted to refer to things had picked up in swot but they hadn't heard it. Again the interview part seemed very pushed for time.
In summary I personally found the whole process very rushed. I did not get job offer feedback on time management and lacking in some experience but was fair feedback on my interview performance.
