    Easy Interview

    Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Ariba in May 2017.

    Interview

I had applied online and got an email from a recruiter to set up an interview with the Hiring manager. The interview was a very short interview with just 10 mins as the interviewer didn't seem to be interested in knowing about more about the candidate. Jumped directly into technical questions. I didn't feel like he was interested in hiring as he didn't seem to be enthusiastic.

    Easy Interview

    Application

The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Ariba (Redwood City, CA).

    Interview

Manager contact directly. Phone interview and then onsite interview.

The original 3 hours onsite interview only last 2 hours and the interview is very easy. I am quite sure except the manager, the another 2 interviewers experience is very less. I explained them what is curry function in js, what is arguments in function other front end knowledge they do not know. After the interview ,after I asked them twice , just receive feedback that they need more experience person.

If you have decided I lacked experience, please do not waste my time. I asked one day PTO from my current company.

    Easy Interview

    Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took a week. I interviewed at Ariba in May 2016.

    Interview

Call on the phone. 30 minutes.

Met team. People were friendly. Seemed like there was a good people-fit, but the project seemed to lack clarity.

Received a job offer verbally for 12 months. Later they tell me 3-6 months. Few days later, they retract the job.

Advice: ask more questions on the phone so that you can vet them and their situation before going on-site.

    Seller Integration Interview

    Application

I applied online. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at Ariba (Pittsburgh, PA) in April 2016.

    Interview

I applied on Glassdoor to the position and had no idea what the company was about. After reading others reviews on the website I had a much better understanding of that Ariba was. I applied with my Resume and that was it, no cover letter. I received an e-mail about 2 weeks later letting me know that I was selected to be interviewed. I was supposed to have 3 phone interviews but ended up only have 2. The 2 that I had lasted about 30 minutes each and were with the Intern Program Coordinator and my specific hiring manager. The Intern Coordinator asked me more conceptual/ cultural questions that really had no right or wrong answer. the hiring manger asked me more tasked based questions that directly related to my school work and experience. The calls were 2 days apart. One on a Wednesday and one on a Friday. After these two calls I was told that I would be contacted to let me know if I received the internship or not. I checked in with them about 2 weeks later since I had not hear anything and then about a week later I received a call from their HR department telling me I was awarded the Internship.

** Others I know of in this internship program had shorter wait times between interviews and hearing back from the company. **
