Asked me what I would do if a customer complained about

  their late fee.

Explain late fee system in a calm way and try to work with them to resolve the conflict. If they won't pay, either make a judgement call to allow a warning and rent or get the manager.

Explain the late fee system and try my best to help them and if they refuse to pay the lat fee then I will get the manager
