Interview

I was recruited through my LinkedIn profile with an Avanade recruiter. Initial contact was very friendly and informative.

The entire hiring process included 6 interviews:
1. Interview with Recruiter - included aspects related to job offerings
2. Interview with HR/Business employee - personality questions
3. Interview with Supervisor/Manager - situational questions
4. Interview with Technical Lead/Manager - phone and screen share looking for technical knowledge, expertise, and overall technical approach
5. Interview with Recruiter - offer and pay negotiation
6. In-person Interview with nearby avanade office manager - questions about career goals and interviewer answering questions about the company and the role

Interview Questions

  • Give an example of a difficult project or task. How did you handle it and what was the outcome?   Answer Question
  • Demonstrate, code, and talk through how to approach sorting an array in descending order. Must talk through logic and critical thinking.   Answer Question

    Initially recruiter called me based on Linkedln profile. Had a Phone inteview one week later. It was good. Asked deep SQL questions and .NET questions for 1.5 hr. After that have a Face-to Face. There were 2 people, one director and one manager. They asked every thing from resume. I cant even remember what I did 8 yrs back. They asked design Patterns, UML etc and SQL Problem solving

    Un classique premier entretiens avec le RH afin de parcourir votre CV, voir si vos compétence corréspondent bien a ce qu'ils recherche et de vous introduire a l'entreprise.

    Second entretien, technique cette fois ci, assez intéressant ou on parcours un champ de connaissance assez vaste. Bien sur les question sont plus détaillées lorsque l'on parle de POO.

    Dernier entretien avec le COO, présenté comme une formalité, est en fait un entretiens pour tester vos motivation. Si vous parvenez jusque la n'hésiter pas a préparer un petit speach de vos motivations et de vos butes dans la vie.

    Attention! Costume obligatoire !

    er ganze Prozess von der Bestätigung des Bewerbungseingangs, dem Termin zum Telefoninterview, der Einladung zum Assessment bis hin zum Feedback (Ab-/Zusage) war sehr zügig. Dies spricht für die gute Organisation bei Avanade, welche man bei vielen anderen Unternehmen vermisst.

    • Assessment Center:
      - 11 Bewerber waren geladen
      - Vorstellung der Räumlichkeiten im Campus Kronberg
      - Alle Mitarbeiter die man im Gebäudekomplex von Avanade getroffen hat, haben einen freundlich gegrüßt
      - Vorstellung der Personen (HR, Consultants, Bewerber)
      - Infos über den Tagesablauf
      - Vortrag durch HR: Vorstellung des Unternehmens
      - Einzelgespräche
      - Technischer Test (komplett in englisch)
      - Pause (Getränke waren "jederzeit" griffbereit und verhungert ist man auch nicht)
      - Gruppenaufgabe
      Auch wenn man vor dem AC relativ aufgeregt war, so verflog die Aufregung durch die nette aber auch professionelle Art und Weise der HR und Consultants ganz schnell.   1 Answer
