      Electrical Design Engineer Interview

      Nov 16, 2021
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      Freeport, TX
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at BASF (Freeport, TX) in Jun 2020

      Interview

I was interviewed during the Corona Virus big layoff time period back in June 2020. I am in Houston Job Market and because of negetive oil prices so many companies laid of engineers. So BASF took the advantage of that treated us very bad in the interview. We were waiting outside the building entrance they were calling us one after the other like the 1930s depression area job search. Their attitude in the interview room was very rude. They could have spaced the interview at least 30 minutes apart. They wil call you after the interview not to offer the job and tell you how bad you are.
