I was called by an employee and offered a phone interview. Very standard, approximately 40 minutes long with strictly behavioral questions. Shortly after, I was flown out to their hiring event in Fort Worth, Texas to a hotel. Although we never went to their HQ, many employees came to discuss their experiences at BNSF. We began early in the morning with an overview about the company itself. Then, we were split into the position that we were interviewing for and heard about our department specifically. Finally, you are assigned interview times and have a three-on-one interview with mostly behavioral questions.
