    Application

I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Bain & Company.

    Interview

great, brief, very professional, interviewers were very friendly
first round was very professional, one by video screen and one in person. the fit section is not very long, maybe around 5-10 minutes and not very structured: had the feeling they were asking whatever they found interesting in my resume.
follow up was quick and prompt in both the first and second round
second round were much easier cases than other consulting firms in my opinion, held in boston. often includes market sizing component.

    Application

    Interview

Did OCR at target school, made it to second round. Interview was somewhat difficult, but not unpleasant. Bain is definitely looking for people who are their "type." Also, I've heard that hiring process can be very different based on the location you are applying too (especially overseas v. NYC for example).

    Application

I applied through college or university. The process took a week. I interviewed at Bain & Company (Atlanta, GA) in February 2015.

    Interview

Interviewed on campus. Two back-to-back 30-minute interviews. The first one was divided into behavioral questions and a mini case. The second interview has a longer case. Both cases were pretty quantitative.

Before the interview somebody from the company contacted me for a practice case, which was in addition to the workshop they ran on campus.
