    Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Baker Hughes (Houston, TX) in January 2012.

    Interview

attend the baker hughes experiance. Very competitive and difficult to receive an offer. Not a good place to start if you are a sophomore or have a lack of work experience. However it is a great company if you are able to get the internship. However I do not recommend this if you have no previous work experience as you will probably not get an offer.

    Interview Questions

    • presentation about yourself and what you can bring to the company infront of all other 30 intern applicants and upper level management.   Answer Question

    Interview

They invite you into an all day process/interview with other candidates. Here you have to deliver a presentation on your background, education, work experience and what you know about the oil/gas industry.
They then tell you right after the day if you receive an internship or not which is a lot of pressure. They tell you that at the beginning of the day. Also, you do a group case and present to the group of hiring managers.

    Interview Questions

    • Have you ever been given a case interview question? What was it? How did you solve it? What did you use to come up with your final answer?   Answer Question
