The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Bank of America (New York, NY) in Feb 2010
Interview
First round interview was over the phone. I interviewed at three different divisions (Research, Capital Markets, and Sales and Trading). I was surprised that the interviewers were generally higher-ups (two VP's and one Director), but I'm not sure how common that is. The research interview was genial and we talked about current economic events and basic resume selling. The Capital Markets interview also had basic resume questions and a simple accounting question (how do the three financial statements affect each other). The Sales and Trading interview went the worst out of the three. It seemed like the interviewer wasn't paying attention to me and was probably working while we talked. The questions he asked were very much focused on putting me on the spot, and he made a point of saying the most valuable skill for the job was thinking on your feet.

Question 1
What is the stock price and market cap of Bank of America?
Online and impersonal. I was disappointed with this interview. Overall I think they are cycling people through a crazy system and I was just a part of it for a brief moment
With the application, there will be an automatic hireVue which you need to submit within a week. You’ll be tested on behavioural questions about your motivation to join.
It consists of two stages - First round of interview, which is online and the second is the final day of Assessment centre. The process takes about 1-2 months.

Question 1
Technical Questions about what is valuation, what are methods of valuation and how one method is different from other.
HireVue and then call with several employees. It was a fairly direct and straightforward process. There were not too many rounds that I felt were unnecessary or out of touch.
