Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Bank of America (Bellevue, WA) in October 2015.

Interview

It was a lengthy process and took about a month. I applied online. After filling application I was asked for an online test. It mainly checked presence of mind, had behavioral questions, certain situation based ques. and some calculation based questions. After a week got a call from HR saying my resume was shortlisted and telephonic HR interview was scheduled for next day. HR mainly asked questions about previous job experience and explained the job requirements. Certain questions were:
Situation from past experience where you had really earned the customer trust.
How would your past experience help you in current profile.
Then she sent me an employment verification form whch I filled and sent back.
After that there was no call or email for another 10 days. I thought i had lost the job. But suddenly I got a call after 10 days and was asked to come for face to face interview with Marketing Manager the next day. This interview took around 1.5 hours. questions asked
1. explain your past experience.
2. How should you handle a very irritating customer and situation where you did it well.
3. Do you have any past experience with sales, relationship building with customers, increasing the business of the branch, cross selling, increasing awareness about latest banking technology and examples for everything.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2+ weeks. I interviewed at Bank of America (Marlboro, NJ) in October 2015.

    Interview

I applied online, the process of the initial application was very standard. After I filled the application I was asked to do a "Virtual Job Tryout" in which they asked behavioral questions, and made up scenarios where you had to assist the client. There was also some simple mathematics. I completed the assessment within an hour. Three days later I received an email from a recruiter who scheduled a time for a phone interview. It lasted about 20 minutes and at the end I was scheduled for an in person interview. The in person interview was very simple, simple questions were asked and it didn't require much thought. About 5 days later I received the job offer contingent to an employment/education background screening and criminal background check.

    Interview Questions

    Negotiation

There was no negotiation, they offered a base salary with incentives.

    Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Bank of America (Anaheim, CA) in October 2015.

    Interview

I applied online through the BOA website. I think the same day, I got an email from the "Senior VP of Corporate Recruiting" asking me to take their online-assessment. Shortly after, I was invited by the same person to their recruiting event at the Bank of America building in Anaheim. A week later, I went to the interview. There were a bunch of other applicants there and a bunch of interviewers. I went in for the interview and then they asked me to go to a second interview across the hall with a higher-up. The second interview was much shorter, more of a get to know you type thing. A week later or so, I got an email letting me I was not going to be hired.

    Interview Questions

    • Why do you want to work for BOA?
What makes you stand out from other candidates?
      What does a PB do?
What sales experience do you have?

    Interview

Online application then interactive online assessment which you need to pass to be considered. I got a call from HR to schedule a phone interview with a regional recruiter, which was for the next day. This was more of a conversation between the two of us. He gave me tons of information about the position, benefits, the hiring process, and he did ask a few behavioral type questions. I was scheduled for an in-person, panel interview with one other candidate with the market sales manager and one other manager and offered the position at the end of the week.
