I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Bank of America (Charlotte, NC) in September 2016.

    Interview

positive, easy, they wanted to know about credentials in detail, and aske specific aspects of project work, satisfied. Not a lot of opportunities to travel. excited to continue however, wealth management is mostly sales and business development role. not a lot to learn, but fun. Problem was to capture a lot of high earning people. great with people, pays fine initially, but later could be a problem, oven face-to-face model which consistently creates new customers and enhances customer

    Interview

Very nice people, interview was very standard and the questions were fairly predictable, I think that I could have done better if I prepared sooner, but it was definitely a good experience

    Interview

I go to a target school and the interview was fairly typical. A VP interviewed me and there were not many technical questions other than WACC, DCF, and market insights. A foundation in technical questions is necessary to succeed. Overall, the VP set a casual tone for the interview.

    Application

I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Bank of America.

    Interview

First there was a 30 minute interview on campus. Then I was invited to a super day at the office where I would be working. Was flown out and put up in a hotel then spent about 3 hours in the office consisting of 5 30-minute interviews with 6 people. Overall it was a pretty typical and average process for banking. Everyone was really nice and I found the interviews to be less technical than expected.

I applied through college or university. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Bank of America (Hopewell, NJ) in February 2015.

    Interview

Applied through university career services and received interview invitation after two weeks. Interview was a one on one interview. It was one simple programming logic question and the others were simple resume screening and background questions. Make sure that you know your resume well and have something to say about each point because the interviewer asked very specific things. I was not invited for the second round interview because I told the recruiter I had a pending offer, even though I was willing to ask for an extension.

    Easy Interview

    Application

I applied through college or university. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Bank of America.

    Interview

Applied through college, heard back in 3 days that I got a on-campus interview the following week. It was mostly random questions, not even related to investment banking, market or my previous internship. Initially I thought that's probably just because I've done nothing finance related so the interviewer chose to exclude the technical questions, but then everyone else had the more or less similar experience. The interviewer was really nice though. I felt kinda clueless during the interview.
