    Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Bannatyne Fitness (Stepps, Scotland (UK)) in April 2017.

    Interview

Formal interview folllwed by practical interview, got passed the formal into practical. Although whilst waiting for my practical I noticed the manager knew the other candidate which seemed unfair, I didn't get the job, but got an email saying they strongly advice I apply again, when I asked for feedback I didn't receive anything again from them.

    SPA Therapist Interview

Anonymous Interview Candidate in Manchester, England (UK)
    No Offer
    Negative Experience
    Average Interview

    Application

I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Bannatyne Fitness (Manchester, England (UK)).

    Interview

The whole process was very unprofessional. They called me and confused me with another candidate, and then, at the end, of the first phone called they asked me to bring my level 1 and level 2 certifications at the interview, although it was clear from the personal statement in my CV that I only had a level 3 qualification as well as level 7. They asked me to do deep tissue for the trade test, although in my cover letter it was clearly specified what types of massage I knew and deep tissue was not among those. I came from another city for that interview, I did copies of all documents they required me to do, including passport and national insurance number, and they have not even bothered to give me a response after the interview, even if was a negative one. Very unprofessional!

    Application

I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Bannatyne Fitness (Darlington, North East England, England (UK)) in December 2016.

    Interview

Though the process was quite formal I was quickly put at ease by the Interviewers. I felt that the questioning was fair but challenging and I was given the opportunity to answer questions based on my previous role. There was good description of the vacant post and what would be expected of the successful applicant. One person led the questioning mostly about previous experience while the other would ask less frequent questions about how I would see the role and how I would react in particular situations. As far as interviews go I thought this was a positive experience.
