    Positive Experience
    Easy Interview

    Application

I applied through other source. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Birds Eye (Darien, WI) in January 2011.

    Interview

Initial application and resume was submitted in September, was not contacted for interview until January.
Patience during the process was stressed as "we take our time hiring."
Interview was one on one, very casual with typical questions. Manager stressed attendance, cold tolerance and schedule flexibility as necessary for a successful candidate.

    Application

    Interview

After the interview with him I was invited to meet all board members, including IT. It was quite a long process with long gaps between one interview and another. they were very good in supporting organization of the interviews, reimbursing travel expenses, etc

    Interview Questions

    • Basically they said they had several positions open, so you didn't know really for what you were interviewed. There were no difficult questions, usual mix between strategy, vision and technical capabilities. Only one of the managers came to the interview with a HR questions-kit, with all the typical questions: what is your management style, what is a situation in which you had to fix an issue, copying with difficult people, convincing management...   Answer Question
