    Hell.... had lost both parents that very same year, didn't feel the best. Hated being interviewed by people with whom I had small confrontations with. Seemed like my neck was on the line, (as it was). Being the age I was, it seems that they preferred younger staff, not taking into consideeration of all the years service and expertise I had on offer.

    Questions relating to serious case reviews, s.17 and s.47s, assessment skills and knowledge, relate previous experience to questions , questions relating to knowledge of current statutory policy , working together etc

    I found it helpful to have prepared a set of examples from placement experience on topics I was confident would be brought up

    There was no test in terms of a written case study

    the panel had less of a clue than i did. everything about the experience was dull. the room was grey, the panel was grey. the fackin carpet was grey. and finally the outcome was greyest of all. they offered me a job in return for my soul. i signed before they asked.
