I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Blend (Hyderābād) in Sep 2022
It took 2 days to shortlist and schedule interview and after clearing 1st round there will be another round with USA panel where they informed that they're looking for more experienced person than me which made me disappointed

Online assessment on hackerrank -> 30 minutes recruiter call -> one technical screen that focuses on algorithm -> virtual onsite -> offer call virtual onsite includes two separate technical interviews that are similar to the first technical screen
- Algorithm Questions similar to what you will find on leetcode

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Blend
Horrible - I was debriefed for an on-site a week before, and was told to complete some “pre work” so that the interview could go smoothly. They canceled a few days before. Very unprofessional/mismanagement of the process, wasting valuable time that could have been used for other opportunities.
- Basic system design + leetcode easy for phone screen

The experience was terrible. The recruiter didn't email an invite when scheduling the technical screen so I missed the first one. Although we were able to reschedule it and I did relatively well in the interview, they completely ghosted me and only replied they would not be moving forward after I followed up much later.
- 1 Algorithm question and 1 system design question

Initial round with a manager. It was about an hour and a half interview so I thought it was going to be manager for 30 min, coding with an engineer for 30 min, then system design with someone else for 30 min. To my surprise the manager did everything himself which was impressive.
- Standard leetcode question, chat about involving geolocation

Had a technical 1 hr interview with Blend. The interviewer was very nice and helpful. I don't think you need DS or Algos for that one just how to write clean code in JS.
- Don't recall the exact question but involved string manipulation and HTML parsing

Recruiter screen (half hour), hiring manager technical screen (one and a half hours), and final round (technical, behavioral, design for a total of 5 hours). Got my results within 24 hours of the final round.
- Practical questions, with an emphasis on system design.

Recruiter reached out on an online platform and we decided to schedule a call but recruiter kind of completely forgot to do that. After a couple of follow-ups, the call was scheduled. However, the recruiter never called and completely ghosted.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Blend in Feb 2022
Chat with recruiter, then chat with hiring manager, then standard virtual on-site with some coding, sys design, and behavioral rounds Overall very enjoyable experience. The recruiters were willing to work around my schedule and the interviewers were very enjoyable to talk to and work with. The communication was top notch throughout the whole process!
- Coding questions were mostly practical (i.e. setting up service or building UI as opposed to LC questions)
