Application

I applied online. The process took 5+ months. I interviewed at Bonfire Communications (San Francisco, CA) in November 2010.

Interview

The company tells you at the beginning of the interview process that it can take up to 5 months from the first interview to the potential job offer, which is actually true. Interviews consist of 1:1 casual chats with each key team member and offer the candidate an opportunity to connect with each person and gauge the personality/culture of the company. Pleasant experience, kind and creative people, but be prepared for a long and drawn-out interview.

Interview Questions

  • How would the following people describe you: Supervisor, Co-workers and Friends?   Answer Question
  • Describe the following: 1) What is your style for handling difficult clients, and 2) What was the most difficult campaign you've worked on and what did it take to successfully launch it?   Answer Question
  • How do you feel about working with team members who are passionate, outspoken, blunt, and confrontational with you even if it's uncomfortable or feels like a personal afront?   Answer Question
