Interview

It was not the worst but very unorhtox, I was expected to answer brainteaser questions and those that are not normally asked. It was truly helpful in finding myself as a person and it is definitely worth seeing their ivnesmtnet philosophy

Good process overall, some online tests followed by an in-person interview at their offices. The in-person interview took about 6 hours, was interviewed as an individual and in a group.

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Bridgewater Associates (Stanford, CA) in Oct 2017

Interview

Difficult group interview. Be ready to speak up. Can't really prepare for the interview. Just go in, think critically, and from first principles. They just want to see how you think. You will be recorded, so be prepared for that.

Interview

They have a video interview and a group interview. The video interview is a typical hire value interview with 1 minute to prepare and 1-2 mins to talk. I would prepare by having a set of questions to ask them (they might ask you if you have questions the end). Pick something that shows focus and highlights your skills. The group interview happens in a room with two recruiters and 10 other candidates. Each candidate need to prepare a question and the recruiters will pick 1 or 2 or the best ones. They'll record the entire conversation. You need to prepare a question that is interesting / can spur a complex conversation. For example, some questions that were picked in my interviews: What would happen if organ selling would be legal? If genetic manipulation were perfected, should it be legal?. There's not really a way to prepare for it, but look for interesting debate questions to come up with your question for the interview. Look up research or articles related to that topic to gave relevant arguments since you might be discussing that question in the interview.

Interview

I had a group interview with them recently for a summer position. I apply through on-campus recruiting. We were asked to each come up with a question in advance and talk about it. the discussion somewhat felt like a regular discussion in class. it was very orderly conducted. You can't really prepare for the interview.
