I applied through college or university. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Broadcom (Calicut, Kerala) in Jul 2012
Interview
First the students were shortlisted based on their CGPA. Some 40 were shortlisted for the written test(mainly objective - but not MCQ). Questions were mainly based on probability and C. 14 students were shortlisted for the interviews. It was informed that there would be 3 rounds of technical interview. But due to lack of time only 2 were conducted (each about 45 minutes). Some of the questions were based on the answers we wrote in the written test. There were questions from Operating systems, Computer Networks and Probability (The interviewer asked about Complexity Theory to me since I told him I liked it). Most questions were very basic theory (except probability) and were easy. Finally 5 candidates were placed.
