    Application

I applied online. I interviewed at CH2M (London, England (UK)).

    Interview

Got an initial call from a friendly recruiter, who went through my cv in an informal phone interview. A couple of days later I was invited for a face to face interview, which turned out to be a relaxed one to one chat with a senior team member. Follow up call a couple of days after that. No offer, but my cv was referred to another team for a similar role. All in all a positive, relaxed experience!

    Interview Questions

    • Mainly questions about my past experience, and a couple of 'HR' type questions - where do you see yourself in 5 years, tell me about a time when you dealt with a difficult person.   Answer Question

    Application

I applied through college or university. I interviewed at CH2M (London, England (UK)) in October 2016.

    Interview

The phone interview was shortly after sending the CV. The interviewer is an HR and the questions were quite general. It was more like a conversation and chat than a job interview. Really enjoyed the whole process. At the end of the interview, the HR gave me some valuable advices for having similar interview in the future. Then I waited for three month to hear back from them that they told me I passed the first round, they will inform me when they have settled the exact positions that they are recruiting. I was given a list of jobs to choose after another 2 months... But I have decided to move on by then.

    Difficult Interview

    Application

I applied online. The process took 6+ months. I interviewed at CH2M (London, England (UK)) in March 2015.

    Interview

Two hours interview to test soft skills and technical competency. Asked to prepare technical presentation of project done at the university.

Interview took place at the London office. Both interviewers made me feel comfortable as possible considering the circumstance.

Lots of questions from both assessor's. However, it was a very interactive session.

At the end of the interview, they invited me to lunch with them which I politely declined. At that point to me, it was no brainer to accept their offer over other offers if successful.

What are the factors to consider when to implement power cables in rail networks?   1 Answer
