    Co-op Sales Assistant Interview

Anonymous Employee in Victoria, BC (Canada)
    Accepted Offer
    Positive Experience
    Average Interview

    Application

I applied through college or university. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at CIBC Wood Gundy (Victoria, BC (Canada)) in April 2012.

    Interview

Initially submitted my application directly to the Investment Adviser doing the hiring. Received a call asking for an interview the same day but eventually scheduled an interview for later that week. Interviewed individually with two interviewers (both Investment Advisers for the team the position was for). Fairly casual interview about prior experience and passion for industry. Interviewers left room for a few minutes and offered the job on the spot. Hiring process involved a lot of paperwork including detailed background check with a third party company. No major hitches but took some time before I could begin work.

    Interview Questions

    • Nothing - Standard interview with general interview questions, trying to get a feel for the candidate more than looking for particular things.   Answer Question
