Got to know about me and my background in sales and customer service. Asked about transportation, computer skills, management experience, etc. After being offered the job you have to have a background check and drug screening. All tax info is done online.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at CROSSMARK (Yorktown Heights, NY) in Mar 2014
Took a little long for me everything was on electronically. But it relieved the nerves because the interviewer couldn't see me. Onboarding process is the part that takes the longest you must get that paperwork in by a certain date and all the training was definitely great at home.
- Mostly common sense questions, It's mostly you talking about yourself

Over the phone, lasted 5 minutes. Basic questions nothing out of the ordinary. Asked about my experience as a manger. Explained the details and duties of the job, but they didn't explain you wouldn't have a team to supervise.
- What kind of manager are you?

When applying, there is no way to contact anyone to follow up on an application or to check on the status of your application. The only way is to check their online portal. The interview process can vary. Sometimes its by phone, sometimes by Skype, sometimes in person. It depends on your situation. They have a script they need to follow when interviewing, unique to each position. They select "Greatly Meets, Meets, or Does Not Meet" based on your response to each question. The on-boarding process is standard. I-9, online forms, drug test, background check, etc.
- I've interviewed for several positions in the company. Most recently I was asked "To get an idea of your thought process, how many times does the hour hand and the minute hand overlap on a clock?" As well as behavioral questions asking about what you did in a certain situation, etc.

Online submission. Contact with recruiter over the phone. Job offer. Asked to submit resume again directly to recruiter. Had a 30 discussion/interview. After initial conversation I was told I would be contacted by the hiring manager. Instead I was contacted again by the recruiter who went straight to offer.

Typical process - submit via Internet in response to job posting on company web site. The next day a recruiter contacted me via phone to arrange an interview time. Recruiter called on time and asked the typical supervisory questions about team motivation, critical thinking skills, multitasking and conflict management. Next level management conducted a face to face interview within the following week where probing questions about relating previous experience and skills to the position were discussed. A follow up phone interview was then conducted with another member of management.
- Why is the sky blue?

Anonymous Employee in Houston, TX
I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at CROSSMARK (Houston, TX) in Aug 2012
The recruiter called and there were mostly behavioral questions. The recruiter was very nice and proffesional, she called the first time to set up a time to interview. The second call from her was the interview and the third call from the recruiter was two days after the interview with an offer.
- None. Typical behavioral questions. Recruiter called.

I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at CROSSMARK (Battle Creek, MI) in Mar 2012
Communication is instigated by applying online via the corporate website, from there, all information is passed to a recruiting agent who can take 1-2 weeks to process and establish contact with the candidate. Candidates must go through a brief phone interview prior to scheduling a face-to-face interview with supervisors for the expected location of work. Once the interview is complete, the information is forwarded back to the recruiting department for consideration and a formal offer may be made. If the offer is accepted, the candidate must return to the business location to process I-9 and W-4 paperwork then go to the designated location for a drug test (which doesn't seem to help the quality of labor found in some instances, I've personally had candidates apply while high on restricted substances). Assuming they pass the drug test, they are officially hired on their respective team and can begin working.
- The interview questions are on par with a high school reading project and don't develop much in the way of candidates.
