    Human Resources Coordinator/Recruiter Interview

Anonymous Employee in Castro Valley, CA
    Accepted Offer
    Positive Experience
    Difficult Interview

The process took a week. I interviewed at CVHCare Home Health (Castro Valley, CA) in March 2010.

First impression was negative: the girl at the front desk looked miserable. At the time, I didn't know they were going to let her go due to attitude. Completed a panel interview with the Board of Directors. They were easy to talk to. I enjoyed my time with them.

    Interview Questions

    • Why did you leave Kaiser Permanente after 12 years in Human Resources?   1 Answer
    • What would you consider an area where you need to improve?   1 Answer

Did not negotiate. Offer was emailed and salary was noted within the offer letter. This is a touchy subject because you may not want to ask "is the salary negotiable" during the initial interview. I did not know there would not be a 2nd interview. As a phone call was not made to offer me the role, communication was completed via email.
