Your opening to this should be something along the lines of, "What do you look for in a phone?" "What do you use your phones for?" "What would you like your phone to be able to do?"

Solutions-based selling means finding (or creating) needs and building value in your solutions. Optimally, the customer doesn't feel sold, they feel like you solved their problem.
