I countered with the view that the answer to an ambiguous question cannot be precise.

I agree that answer to an ambiguous question cannot be precise. Also how long it took from Final Panel interview to selection decision / verbal offer? In my case, it's taking more than 7 days post 2 panel interviews but no news so far.
