I was provided transportation to their headquarters in Burlington for 5 back-to-back interviews, roughly 30 minutes each. Everyone was extremely nice and pleasant to talk to. The interview questions weren't too hard, but by no means simple either. It's definitely worth brushing up on anything you haven't touched upon recently.

    Difficult Interview

    Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Charles River Development (Burlington, MA) in October 2015.

    Interview

Technical phone screen followed by half day face to face interviews by at least 4-5 folks. There is an aptitude test and an essay to wright as well. The test is mandatory no matter which role you apply. The test was in analytical format to test your ability to come to deduce some conclusions based on various indirect facts.

    Interview Questions

    • White board programming for a simple sorting, searching or recursion logic. Questions on unit testing and various other programming questions. Nothing on latest technologies like spring, jpa, functional. Just core java thats all.   1 Answer

    Negotiation

There is nothing to negotiate. CRD pays well as per the industry standard. You won't get any crazy hike (Depending on your current salary but seems hard to get anything beyond 3-5% if you are already getting decent pay).

A near perpetual focus on improving the product and its features. A consistently deep sales pipeline means no shortage of projects or “utilization” opportunities in the professional services area. Highly cerebral and no-nonsense culture with a constant emphasis on driving results and performance. “Type A” individuals will usually thrive here, but burnout is a huge risk. Slackers take note: you will usually be dispatched back to the Linkedin Jobs board within 12 months if you make it through the gauntlet. CRD is exceptionally selective hiring and recruiting standards for new hires and associates. Charles River looks great on a resume (assuming you can wait out that mandatory non-compete employment agreement) and you will develop a great network of buy and sell side clients and business partners. Pays 20%+ above industry average (but no equity).” – Full Review
