    Kitchen Staff Interview

    Anonymous Employee in Akron, OH
    Accepted Offer
    Negative Experience
    Easy Interview

    Application

I applied through other source. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Churchs Chicken (Akron, OH) in March 2013.

    Interview

I found an ad on Craigslist saying there were open interviews. The regional manager at the time was conducting them at the location I was hired at. I was the only person who brought a pen to fill out the application, let alone a resume. Dave hired me on the spot, and then asked me to lunch. Should have been the first red flag, but I really needed the job and have a lot of barriers, so I took it anyway

    Negotiation

I would say right off the bat let them know what you want. They won't give you a lot, but you might be able to talk them up from minimum wage if you are a man with experience

    Application

I applied in-person. I interviewed at Churchs Chicken (Detroit, MI) in August 2014.

    Interview

Basically I was reference by my older brother who's also a assistant manager of church's chicken. I was very nervous I thought I promise won't get hired at first but so far it went cool. They showed me basic stuff that I need to before I start working here. Customer service was very important. They asked 4 questions. During my interview they also included business sales more information in details.Offering predominantly entry-level opportunities for work, Church's Chicken asks standard interview questions during the hiring process. Workers may respond to general interview questions like: "How long do you plan to work for Church's Chicken?", "Do you have any fast food, food prep, or customer service experience?", and "Can you describe a time when you had to work under stress or in fast-paced circumstances?" Interview questions also touch on personal subjects, like hobbies or interests outside of work, character traits, and professional references. The fast food chain imposes no formal dress codes during the hiring process. Applicants looking to impress hiring managers may want to wear at least business-casual outfits. Strong communication skills and the ability to work a variety of shifts stand paramount to hiring, as well.
