Interviews for Top Jobs at Circuit Court of Jackson County

Anonymous Employee in Kansas City, MO
I applied in-person. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Circuit Court of Jackson County (Kansas City, MO)
It was a long process. From application to first interview was two weeks. It was another two weeks before I received the offer. I interviewed with the director and two other employees.
- Why should we hire you?

Anonymous Interview Candidate
I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Circuit Court of Jackson County
First, I had to take an IMPACT test before moving to the interview. The interview was fairly easy and the man that interviewed me was great. I received an offer, contingent on passing a drug test, physical, and physical abilities test. I passed the drug test and physical, but failed one part of the strength test. The strength test had about a dozen sections, but I failed the 100lb lift. I didn't think this would automatically disqualify me because I could carry it with another person, but HR said it was an immediate disqualification. The entire process took over 6 weeks and I didn't receive an offer. HR never even notified me that I didn't receive the position, I only found out because I finally called.
- How would you deal with a new protocol you didn't agree with?
