Application

I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Cisco Systems.

Interview

The interview process is very smooth and well structured. The first round was on campus, with two interviews back to back, one focusing on PM core skillsets, and another centering on cultural fit. They fly candidates over to San Jose for the final round, with 3 back to back interviews, mostly with PMs.

    Easy Interview

    Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Cisco Systems (San Jose, CA) in February 2018.

    Interview

I applied for a Strategy Manager role, I went through 4 interviews for a Strategy Manager role. On a Saturday morning I was verbally offered a Strategy Manager role, then on Monday morning I received a written offer for Product Manager. When I asked why the change, I was told there was a re-org. I asked if it took place after my verbal offer or if that was made in error. They apologized and said they should have told me sooner, but they assumed I needed a job (seriously! who says that?). Then before I informed them that was planning to reject the offer, they pulled the offer anyway! This was just a few days later despite the written offer deadline being for 3 weeks away.

    Interview

It was impossible to schedule, the role is in the US, but for some reason it had to be scheduled through a 3rd party accenture contractor in India. It was a nightmare, took over 2.5 weeks to eventually get the first round technical interview scheduled. Actually cancelled it because I had already received other offers by the time they finally got the time figured out.
