Application

I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Citi in September 2017.

Interview

I had a first round interview with them after applying online. A few days before, they held a conference call with the other applicants from my school discussing ways to prepare for the interview. The interview was on-campus, I had two interviewees. One was a fourth year analyst and the other was a senior banker. The analyst was really rude and mean. He was truly trying to make me crack. The senior was much nicer. At the end, when it was time for me to ask questions, the analyst started looking at his phone, clearly done. Questions are below.
One of my friends made it past this round to the super day. This interview round was Monday and the super day was Friday. They offered him a job Saturday.

Interview Questions

  • 1) What are you most proud of?
    2) How are you going o stay motivated when you are a part of longterm deals?
    3) Someone calls you at 10 am, who is it and what are they asking?
    4) Why investment banking?
    5) Walk me through a DCF   Answer Question
