For me it took the District about 45 days before I got the email with instructions to schedule my interview appointment. I then scheduled my interview for the following week.

    Application

I applied online. The process took 6+ weeks. I interviewed at Clark County School District (Las Vegas, NV) in September 2015.

    Interview

The interviewsI had with school assistant principals seemed much less in-depth than other interviews I have had for teaching positions. They didn't ask me many difficult questions and didn't seem to care what my teaching philosophy was. The actual interview process was only one day and in one school Iwas offered a position on the spot, the other Iwas offered that day. However, the application process was very intense, it took about two weeks for me to gather all of the required documents and references in order to be interviewed. Then after my interview, it took over a month for HR to make everything official and for me to actually start work.

    Interview Questions

    • The schools mostly just talked about what the job would be like.   Answer Question

    Interview

Applied online. On a monday, about 2 weeks later got email saying application was accepted. That if department was interested they would contact me for an interview. About 2 hours after email received a phone call and asked to come in to interview on Wed. Basically showed up at Transportation Admin building. Had to sign in, then was told to go wait in a room and someone would come get me. 2 others waiting in room. Some one comes in and gets you. you go to another room with 3 people sitting at desk, there is a sheet in front of you with about 5 or 6 questions. they basically go around the room and ask you those questions on the sheet. ask you if open schedule is a problem. then offered me job at that time. gave me information to attend orientation, fingerprints, and was told is a 2 week training program.
