The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at CoStar Group in Mar 2009
Interview
First I received an email in reply to my initial application. I had to fill out a short questionnaire about my ambitions, my strengths and weaknesses, etc. I then had a phone interview a few days later discussing my answers to the questionnaire. I was then invited to come for an in-person interview in Columbia, MD. I with HR person, was questioned about my past work history. Then I they introduced me to an employee in the position I was applying for to see how the job is in action. She tried to explain a somewhat confusing metrics by which their performance is rated and bonuses are depended upon. Then I was introduced to one of the managers who droned on very monotonously about position specifics and I had trouble staying focused. Two weeks later I received a letter of rejection.

Extremely lengthy. 4 stages over about 2 months. Panel interview that took 6 hours. One panelist did not show and added another interview stage. Due to length, I found a better offer and declined after finally getting to an offer.
