The process was initiated through Linkedin. The HR recruiter was extremely knowledgeable about the position, as well as the technologies of Codexis, which was refreshing. An introductory touch-base was then set up with the hiring manager, who gave me a detailed description of the position and her vision of the group and company. This was followed by a 1h interview with the immediate team members, who were all brilliant, wonderful, individuals. Next was a 1h seminar, followed by a day-long interview (some panel, some 1on1) with key individuals in the department, and some executive members. The hiring manager (and my future mentor) and the HR recruiter kept me in the loop at each step of the process, and the final meeting included the offer, which was completely on par (if not better) for this position in the Bay Area. Overall a positive, transparent, and enjoyable process!
