    Senior Project Manager Interview

Anonymous Interview Candidate in New York, NY
    No Offer
    Negative Experience
    Average Interview

    Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took a week. I interviewed at Cognizant Technology Solutions (New York, NY) in March 2018.

    Interview

I was contacted regarding a consulting position in NYC.
I had multiple interviews with Cognizant personnel, followed by interviews with the client.
Cognizant set up the interviews, but did not give me the names of the people I would be speaking to.
When I asked for the names I was told that I could not have them.
    How bizarre!
How can you be expected to interview with someone if you have not had the opportunity to research them?
How can you send a thank you note to someone if you don’t know their full name?

This was a very difficult process, with very unprofessional, aggressive recruiters.

The Cognizant staff was all over me like ants at a picnic, until the final round of interviews, in which another candidate was selected.
At that point, there was nothing but crickets. Some constructive feedback would be nice.
The entire process left a bad taste in my mouth.

Initial interviews were done over the phone with HR and then with someone from the hiring department. The in-person interview process was very streamlined. Senior Manager - Projects Interview

    Anonymous Employee in Neenah, WI

    Positive Experience
    Easy Interview

    Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Cognizant Technology Solutions (Neenah, WI) in January 2011.

    Interview

Phone screen plus video conference. Was rather quite easy and straight forward, I had reached out to several employees through LinkedIn beforehand so already was aware of the company culture, etc. Basic questions about my background, what I like to do and didn't like, what I aspired to do beyond the current position, etc. Nothing surprising.
