Interview
Interview process consisted of 4 rounds:
1) Recruiter screen (gave salary range which is good)
2) HM screen - hour long convo with HM to ask questions about your experience
3) Case study - they give you 1 hr to do independent work and prepare a light presentation for a panel. The panel then interviews you to ask about your thought process etc for 30 min. The case study asked you to design an experiment or feature in a situation that is very similar to their existing business. Research what they do, problem space etc to help prepare.
4) Final round: Cross-functional panel of interviews with design, eng, and a member of the leadership team.
Overall, I enjoyed the interview process with Cohere. Everyone was really friendly and cool. The interview process felt comprehensive and pretty standard.

Interview
Initial HR phone screening, hiring manager video interview and panel interview with possible peer interview as well along with case study to present to panel. Those I interviewed with were very dry and seemed like they really hated their job. Main focus was revenue of company and not actually enjoying your work life.
Recruiter call, no video option. The person was very personable and easy to talk to but the process seemed long. It included many panel interviews and separate ones too. There was no indication of whether I would move forward in the process from the call itself.

Recruiter missed our first call. Then sent out 3 other invites without us agreeing to another time. Met with the hiring manager and complete a case study. Met with a cross functional owner and got declined to move forward
