I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Compass High School (Tucson, AZ) in Jun 2019

Interview

3-4 hour interview 3x. That should of been a good indication they had no idea what they were doing. The man-child who received the school from his parents talks non-stop about himself. Then his brother, another man-child, pretends he's interested but can't find one question to ask. Instead, he looks around the room and talks about his learning disabilities. Absolutely ridiculous!

Interview Questions
  • The first thing they want to know from anyone is if you know what their school is all about. They do this in hopes that you have no idea what they do as to avoid cross-referencing other schools against theirs. The more ignorant you are...the better your chances are in getting hired. I was super naive and a prime candidate.

HR Generalist

If asked what type of management style to you prefer? How do you feel about micromanagement? How do you answer this professionally? Nobody likes micromanagement so why ask? Maybe bc the manager there does?

In an interview is it a good practice to draw examples for answering situational questions from the most recent and relevant experience or should I draw examples from other previous experiences as well?
