Applied online. Quickly got an interview setup with HR. Returned following week to meet with Plant Manager and tour the plant. Up to this point it was the most pleasant interview process I've ever experienced. HR and the Plant Manager was extremely kind and genuine with wanting to fill the position with someone who wanted to work there and succeed. Then scheduled an interview with the corporate EHS group for the following week. This was a 180 from the other interviews and was very abrupt and borderline rude with the questioning. They asked about 5 questions, all regarding machine guarding. They tried to claim there was no environmental permit requirements for the plant (which was not true based on my tour...). Got cut off while answering guestions more than once. Was told to expect to hear back in a week. Took a month to get a thank you email. Disappointed because I think it really would be a great place to work but I definitely got overlooked because I wasn't an expert with robotics machine guarding, even though that is only a small portion of EHS Managment and it wasn't even mentioned on the job posting.
