Application

I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Deloitte (Philadelphia, PA) in August 2016.

Interview

Well coordinated and structured. Set the right expectations. Lasted an hour. Had a panel that asked very direct questions on past experience and future aspirations. Got confirmed over the phone and then an email after the right job fit was established.

    Application

I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Deloitte (Philadelphia, PA).

    Interview

First round interview in Philadelphia office.

Interview process is decently different enough from other major consulting firms (i.e. McKinsey, Bain and BCG) that I'll mostly highlight them here. When I arrived in the office they did not give me a description of the people I was meeting with that day. The first interview was one for fit. They seemed to care *a lot* more about the Why Deloitte? question than any other aspect of the interview. Other quesitons were basically normal.

The second interview is a normal case format.

    Hope this helps!

    Interview

The interview process was easy, however, I didn't have much interview experience - so didn't do well. Deloitte is a great company and left me very positive impression

    Difficult Interview

    Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Deloitte (Philadelphia, PA) in March 2008.

    Interview

was referred to the firm - had a phone screen first followed by 3 sets of 1 on 1 interviews -- One behavioral, and 2 case studies. The last one was with a partner - he's the final word of course.

the process was quite seamless - if they like you, things will move quick.

    Interview Questions

    • Case study - provide analysis on a hypothetical business problem or a project scenario   1 Answer

    Negotiation

Very little margin for negotiation unless you are coming from another big-4 consulting -- the sign on bonus is decent and they do provide relocation for experienced hires.

the green card process is a mess - dont fall for their promises, get everything in writing.
